MANUFACTURING APPARATUS FOR REDUCED IRON AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A reduced iron manufacturing apparatus and a reduced iron manufacturing method using the same are provided to recycle byproduct gas generated from an iron making process and to produce hydrogen using steam at high temperature and carbon monoxide generated from a hydrogen reduction process. CONSTITUTION: A reduced iron manufacturing apparatus comprises an iron ore reduction reactor (200), a fine particles and gas collecting unit (300), a hydrogen producing unit (100), a byproduct gas processing unit (500), and a mixing chamber (550). The iron ore reduction reactor reduces iron ore fines. The fine particles and gas collecting unit filters iron ore fine particles and collects reducing gas among exhaust gas emitted from the iron ore reduction reactor. The hydrogen producing unit raises the content of hydrogen in the exhaust gas using the reducing gas. The byproduct gas processing unit extracts the reducing gas by removing carbon dioxide in iron making byproduct gas. The mixing chamber supplies the mixed reducing gas to the iron ore reduction reactor.
