A packaging system (100) includes an outer shell (200) having a display frame structure. A transparent or plastic container (300) may be disposed in the outer shell (200). The transparent container (300) may include mounted therein, a box insert (400) formed from a paperboard body blank (400'). The box insert (400) may include a pair of laterally disposed sidewalls (406, 407) each including a locking slot (446) and an arcuate portion (R1, R2). A front panel (404) is disposed between the pair of sidewalls (406, 407) being connected by a vertical fold line (410) at each sidewall (406, 407). A display panel (416) has laterally disposed locking tabs (436) that are received in the lockin slots (446) of the sidewalls (406, 407) to cause the display panel (416) to form a curved region (460) supported by the arcuate portion (R1, R2). |
