PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable timing of a data transferring to be automatically determined according to a clock of transferring source and the clock of transferring destination.SOLUTION: A data transfer apparatus includes: a transfer data storage section in which transfer data is written at a first clock from a first clock domain and the transfer data is read at a second clock from a second clock domain; a write completion signal reception section for receiving a write completion signal; a read permission signal transmission section for transmitting a read permission signal; a read completion signal reception section for receiving a read completion signal; a write permission signal transmission section for transmitting a write permission signal; and a read permission section for instructing the read permission signal transmission section to transmit the read permission signal. The read permission signal transmission section can automatically determine the timing of data transferring according to the clock of the transferring source and the clock of the transferring destination by the data transfer apparatus that transmits the read permission signal according to the instruction from the read permission section.
