<p>The aim of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy using, as a source of calcium and silicon to be added to aluminum, a calcium-based additive and a silicon-based additive which are more chemically stable and economically advantageous than the conventional calcium metal and pure silicon. The present invention further aims to provide an aluminum alloy manufactured by the method. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy, comprising the steps of: dissolving an aluminum-based substrate to obtain molten metal; adding a calcium-based additive to the molten metal or adding a calcium-based additive and a silicon-based additive to the molten metal; at least partially removing the calcium-based additive and/or the silicon-based additive from the molten metal; and casting the molten metal.</p> |
