PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical heat storage material which has a large heat storage density, and with which heat storage (dehydration) is conducted at lower temperature and more stably compared with a chemically non-composite chemical heat storage material, and to provide a reaction device.SOLUTION: A heat storage device 100 mounted on a vehicle 200 includes a reaction device 10 with a composite heat storage material 14 represented by structural formula (1) including a structure in which an alkaline earth metal hydroxide and an alkali metal chloride are chemically bonded to each other, wherein a ratio of the alkali metal chloride content with respect to the total mass is >0 to ≤6.8 mass% (Mis an alkali metal, Mis an alkaline earth metal, a to d satisfy 2a≥d, b>0, c>0, and d>0), provided therein. The structural formula (1) is represented: MMCl(OH). |
