PURPOSE: A system for sorting fruits is provided to consecutively sort the fruits by repetitively circulating trays even if empty trays in which are greater than a predetermined range return in a conveyor waiting the return of the empty trays, and preventing the stopping of the system. CONSTITUTION: A system for sorting fruits comprises a fruit input conveyer (110), a fruit measuring unit (120), a fruit sorting main conveyor (130), tray direction diverters (150), fruit discharge waiting conveyors, empty tray discharge conveyors, an empty tray return conveyor (170), a return conveyor (140), an empty tray return waiting conveyor (180), an empty tray opening/closing unit, and a control unit (200). The return conveyor re-transmits the trays and the empty trays in which are not selected in the fruit sorting main conveyor and pass to the fruit input conveyer. The empty tray opening/closing unit is installed between the empty tray return waiting conveyor and the return conveyor and selectively controls the movement of the empty trays in which are arranged in the empty tray return waiting conveyor. The control unit controls the driving of the tray direction diverters and the empty tray opening/closing unit based on the information measured at the fruit measuring unit. |
