The assembly has a rotor (10) rotatably arranged on a hollow axle and including an axially movable free-wheel device. Force is transmitted from the rotor to a hub body by the free-wheel device in a rotational direction around the axle. The rotor includes a face gear (28) at an end, and faces the hub body. The rotor is made of fiber composite material, aluminum alloy or magnesium core with aluminum, titanium or steel alloy coating. A dropout counter piece is attached on an end of the axle, and a roller bearing is positioned on the rotor.
