摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly calculate the current SOC from an open-circuit voltage in a secondary battery using a positive-electrode active material having different open-circuit voltage curves during charging and discharging as a positive-electrode material.SOLUTION: There is provided a control device for a secondary battery which uses a positive-electrode active material having different open-circuit voltage curves during charging and discharging as a positive-electrode material, wherein if the secondary battery is charging, on a predetermined reference SOC/open-circuit voltage curve that serves as a reference when calculating the current SOC of the secondary battery and indicates the relationship between SOC and open-circuit voltage, the control device calculates a value lower than the SOC value corresponding to the current open-circuit voltage of the secondary battery as the current SOC of the secondary battery, and if the secondary battery is discharging, the control device calculates a value higher than the SOC value corresponding to the current open-circuit voltage of the secondary battery on the reference SOC/open-circuit voltage curve as the current SOC of the secondary battery.
