PURPOSE: An ink composition for marker pens is provided to maintain good erasing performance for longtime under strong sunlight after writing by having excellent moisturizing ability and to maintain ink stability at expansion temperature(70°C). CONSTITUTION: An ink composition for marker pens contains a pigment, resin, solvent, releasing agent, surfactant, anti-sagging agent, and additive, and additionally contains 5-8 weight% of distilled water, 0.1-5 weight% of a UV blocking agent based on the total weight of the ink composition. The additive is a mixture of one or more selected from ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, and glycerin. |
