PURPOSE: A method for controlling braking force of an electronic parking brake system is provided to efficiently control braking force of an electronic parking brake system by estimating the rotated amount of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling braking force of an electronic parking brake system is as follows. The amount of currents flowing in the motor of an electronic parking brake system is detected(640). The rotation number of the motor is estimated using the detected amount of the currents(650). Braking force of the parking brake system is controlled using the estimated rotation number of the motor(660). |
