PURPOSE: Ski simulation apparatus and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to experience the posture and movement of various motions by using an image based on virtual reality and a simulator enabled with 6 degree-of-freedom motions. CONSTITUTION: Ski simulation apparatus is equipped with the following parts: a simulator unit (100) implementing motions to have directivity according to the movement of a skier; a control part (300) controlling the motions of the simulator unit according to inputted virtual topographic information data as well as digitizing variable motion information for the movement of the skier, which is inputted through a sensor part detecting the movement of the skier, and outputting to the outside; and a display part (600) displaying previously inputted topographic information data as well as displaying a variable image signal by coupling with the variable motion information, which is outputted from the control part, through feedback.
