PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate effects of a reading error of an image sensor of a reading means in acquiring a relationship between a pattern density and a duty that is used for duty correction to suppress density unevenness of a pattern.SOLUTION: First, by discharging ink from nozzles with different duties, a first inspection pattern 51 and a second inspection pattern 52 are formed on recording paper P, respectively. Next, the first inspection pattern 51 and the second inspection pattern 52 are read by the same image sensor 62 of a scanner 32, to obtain a density of each of the patterns 51, 52. Then, a density difference between the first inspection pattern 51 and the second inspection pattern 52 that are read by the same image sensor 62 is determined, and a relationship between the density difference and a duty difference is calculated. |
