PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing wall structure which can achieve excellent workability and improved rigidity without reducing a characteristic of an inorganic bearing face material 8.SOLUTION: In a bearing wall structure, an inorganic bearing face material 8 is firmly fixed to a column 1, a joint stud 2 as well as upper and lower horizontal members 5 and 6 through superficial side reinforcing bands 10, which are positioned on left and right edge sections at the superficial side of the inorganic bearing face member 8 and continuously extended in a vertical direction all the way from an upper edge section to a lower edge section of the inorganic bearing face material 8, with nails 20 penetrating the superficial side reinforcing bands 10 and the inorganic bearing face material 8. The superficial side reinforcing band 10 is made of: a steel plate having a thickness of 0.2 to 0.6 mm; or a wooden fiberboard having resistive yield stress on a nail side surface higher than that of the inorganic bearing face material 8, the thickness of 2 mm or more and a specific weight of 0.6 or more. The steel plate superficial side reinforcing band 10 is integrated with the inorganic bearing face material 8 with a tacker, a burr projected from a back face of the steel plate superficial side reinforcing band 10 and adhesive. |
