PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ease of work in attaching and detaching a workpiece to/from a workpiece clamp without an increase in the size of a device.SOLUTION: A vertical machining center 10 includes: a spindle 25 holding a tool T in a posture in which a tip of a tool T is directed upward; a workpiece clamp 35 disposed above the spindle 25 and holding a workpiece W; a rotary mechanism 33 rotating the workpiece clamp 35 around a rotational shaft 33a. By driving the rotary mechanism 33, the workpiece clamp 35 is switched between a machining position in which the workpiece W is directed downward to make the workpiece W face the tool T, and a replacement position in which the workpiece W is directed frontward of the device. |
