PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate and efficient joining process of a connected body of a material to be joined in which at least one side of the connected body of the material to be joined comprising a light transmitting resin, the material to be joined using the process, and a light absorbent used for the joining.SOLUTION: A joining process for resin includes disposing a light absorbent in a contact part of a connected body of a material to be joined comprising resins at least one of which has light permeability, irradiating the contact part of the connected body of the material to be joined with light by means of a light irradiation means from the surface of the resin comprising light permeability to excite the light absorbent, thereby joining the material to be joined. There is provided a light absorbent for use in the joining. |
