The transducer has a plate-like coupler element for adjusting inherent resonant frequency of a tube assembly. A longitudinal slot is formed in the coupler element. The slot is formed with maximum slot width and maximum slot length, which is greater than the maximum slot width. A detachable and/or rigid coupling element contacts a slot bordering edge of the slot such that a connecting element forms a fixing region, where the connecting element is opposite and/or spaced from closed end edge portions of the slot bordering edge. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a measuring system for a medium flowing in a pipeline (2) a method for adjusting a metal measuring tube of a vibration-type transducer.
