METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COMPENSATING REACTIVE POWER OF WIND POWER EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: A method and a system of reactive power compensation for wind power plants instantaneously control the wind power plants by the electrical cooperation of an energy storage device and a reactive power compensation device. CONSTITUTION: A wind power plant (10) electrically connected to a power system collects reactive power information generated when supplying power to the power system. A reactive power compensation value is determined for the control of a power factor of the wind power plant by using the reactive power information. A distribution coefficient is generated for reactive power compensation by the reactive power compensation value by energy storage device and reactive power compensation device electrically connected to the wind power plant. A command value is generated and transmitted for the operation of the energy storage device and the reactive power compensation device according to the distribution coefficient.
