<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacking force transmission device for a pipe jacking and laying method, which enables a jacking force to be constantly and surely transmitted to a leading pipe without reference to conditions of a jacked pipeline. <P>SOLUTION: This jacking force transmission device for the pipe jacking and laying method is used when the pipeline is constructed by the sleeve-type pipe jacking and laying method by employing a pipe joint structure in which watertightness of a pipe joint portion is maintained by pressing a rubber ring into a gap between a socket 30 of a leading pipe P<SB>1</SB>and an insertion port 31 of a following pipe P<SB>2</SB>by a pressing ring 33. The jacking force transmission device includes a fixing member 1 which is fixed to an outer peripheral surface of the following pipe P<SB>2</SB>and which has a roller 39 rolling along an inner surface of a sleeve, a plurality of jacking force transmission members 5 which are fixed to the fixing member 1 toward the side of the socket 30, and an elastic body 8 which is interposed between the fixing member 1 and each of the jacking force transmission members 5.
