PURPOSE: A twin roll type sheet casting method to reduce the scum mixing is provided to control the injection angle and flow rate of a gas injection nozzle adhering to a meniscus shield, thereby efficiently controlling the scum floating on the surface of molten steel. CONSTITUTION: A twin roll type sheet casting method to reduce the scum mixing comprises the following steps. An inert atmosphere is injected through a meniscus shield preventing the contact between molten steel and the atmosphere and through an inert gas injection nozzle formed on the meniscus shield onto the surface of the molten steel. The gas injection angle of the inert gas injection nozzle is 15-45 degrees in the direction from the center of the roll width towards the roll width edge. The gas injection nozzle is arranged in multiples in the roll width direction. |
