PURPOSE: A continuously variable transmission is provided to conveniently and stably shift a gear through an internal spherical surface and external surface friction driving method which uses a cone bevel gear as a power roller. CONSTITUTION: A traction unit includes a friction member coaxially mounted on a fixing reference gear. An output module (500) outputs a change of a velocity by being combined to the traction unit and being connected to rotation of the friction member. A pressing unit (600) delivers rotary power by a friction contact between a power roller and the friction member or controls a contact pressure to block delivery of the rotary power by separation between the power roller and the friction member. A gearshift unit (700) consecutively changes a velocity ratio of an input module and the friction member by controlling a shaft direction position between the power roller and the friction member using a wire. |
