PURPOSE: A power train for an automatic transmission prevents the gear shift impact during a static gear shift operation by maintaining the connection between a rotary shaft of the automatic transmission and a first clutch in a neutral stage. CONSTITUTION: An acceleration clutch (16) is installed on an input shaft in which the power of the engine is delivered. A first planetary gear set (30) varies the power delivered from the acceleration clutch. A second planetary gear set (50) varies the power delivered from the first planetary gear set. A third planetary gear set (70) is installed between the second planetary gear set and an output shaft. An operating element controls the operation and power transmission of the first planetary gear set, the second planetary gear set, and the third planetary gear set. |
