BATTERY PACK EQUIPPED WITH INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION CURCUIT MODULE

PURPOSE: A battery pack is provided to facilitate replacing only defective battery cells without needing to discarding the whole battery by equipping each cell of the battery with an individual protection circuit module. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack comprises the parallel or serial connection of two or more battery cells (110, 120, 130) and an individual protection circuit module (210, 220, 230) is equipped on each battery cell. The battery pack further includes an upper case (300) connected to the top of the battery cells with all the individual protection circuit modules contained inside; a lower case (400) connected to the bottom of the battery cells; and a label (500) for enveloping the sides of the battery cells. The battery cells are lithium battery cells. The connections are made by welding or soldering.
