PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and communication system capable of preventing error transmission and suitably performing facsimile transmission of image data to a target destination.SOLUTION: A communication device relays a call between a mobile terminal and a destination device through a communication channel to perform facsimile transmission of image data formed by an image formation device to the destination device through the communication channel. The communication device acquires the image data and identification information on the destination device by communicating with the image formation device, and acquires a transmission start instruction for the facsimile transmission from the mobile terminal. The communication device controls communication with the destination device through the communication channel according to the identification information (S238), and performs the facsimile transmission of the image data to the destination device through the communication channel (S246) on condition that the transmission start instruction has been acquired (S244: Yes) in a state in which relay for the call between the mobile terminal and the destination device is being performed (S236). |
