PURPOSE: A module and a method for recognizing motion gestures are provided to obtain low costs, low power consumption, subminiature size using low-cost light source and photo detectors. CONSTITUTION: A photo sensor part comprises two or more photo detectors (21) which detect reflected lights reflected from objects. A photo block is interposed in a light receiving path of the photo sensor part to separate the detection angle of the photo detectors. The photo block is installed between the photo detectors. The height of the photo block is higher than the photo detectors.
