PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a temperature rise in a recording head by taking the advantage of a feature which allows recording during scanning by the recording head.SOLUTION: When a temperature of a recording head 25 detected by a head temperature detection section 26b reaches a predetermined temperature during recording on a recording medium, a recording control section 26a of a printer 11 makes the recording head 25 perform idle scanning without driving the recording head 25 during recording on the recording medium in a predetermined mode. |
