PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a glass substrate for HDD that can efficiently clean the glass substrate and reduces fine sticking matter on the glass substrate to be obtained to suppress occurrence of a subsequent error.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a glass substrate for HDD that includes at least a single scrub cleaning process before a final cleaning process, the scrub cleaning process including a roll scrub cleaning process and a cut scrub cleaning process. In the roll scrub cleaning process, the glass substrate is cleaned while a cleaning agent is supplied to a cleaning brush from above and in the cup scrub cleaning process, the glass substrate is cleaned while a cleaning agent is supplied from inside the cleaning brush. |
