PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure printing machine and its control method that can shorten a time needed for a register fine adjustment operation by utilizing accumulation of past data even when various pieces of equipment such as a register mark detection unit changes in installation precision.SOLUTION: A control amount arithmetic unit 32 corrects the amount of misregistration calculated by a misregistration amount arithmetic part 30 based upon a misregistration amount corresponding to a register mark detection setting condition input by an input unit 38 and stored in a storage unit 36, and calculates control amounts of plate cylinder driving motors 13b, 13c, etc., based upon the amount of misregistration having been corrected. When the control amounts of the plate cylinder driving motors 13b, 13c, etc., are corrected manually under a certain register mark detection setting condition by the preset number of times, all misregistration adjustment amounts corresponding to the register mark detection setting condition and stored in the storage unit 36 are corrected by the same correction amount. |
