PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb filter formed by joining a plurality of honeycomb segment bodies with a joining section, capable of restraining generation of cracking in the joined section.SOLUTION: Two faces opposing to a honeycomb segment body 1 in a spacer section 8 are in contact with the honeycomb segment body 1. The coefficient of thermal expansion αh of the honeycomb segment body 1, the coefficient of thermal expansion αs of the joining section 2 and the coefficient of thermal expansion αsp of the spacer section 8 satisfy αsp>αh>αs or αsp<αh<αs. |
