PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation in characteristics of a lens member.SOLUTION: A core layer 120 is formed on a part of a lower clad layer 110. An upper clad layer 140 is formed on the lower clad layer 110 and the core layer 120, and covers the core layer 120. A lens member 130 is interposed between the lower clad layer 110 and the core layer 120. The lens member 130 faces an end part of the core layer 120 and is integrally formed. In a waveguide 100, the lens member 130 is interposed between the lower clad layer 110 and the core layer 120 and faces the end part of the lower clad layer 110. |
