PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of prediction while suppressing required past data.SOLUTION: A prediction device comprises: an extraction unit that extracts a second unit period whose transaction result is similar to that of a first unit period before a target unit period by a predetermined period; and a prediction unit that predicts a transaction amount to be generated in the target unit period using the transaction result of the first unit period and the transaction result of the second unit period extracted by the extraction unit.
