PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and low-cost power conversion device that allows eliminating transformers completely and does not have the possibility of noise transmission.SOLUTION: A power conversion device includes: insulated-gate-type switching elements 13 to 18; gate drive circuits 9 to 12 for driving and controlling the switching elements 13 to 18; and a power supply 24 for supplying power to the gate drive circuits 9 to 12. The power supply 24 includes: a light emitter 2 emitting light; light guide bodies 3 and 31 causing light of the light emitter 2 to be incident and transmitting the light; light-receiving bodies 4 receiving the light transmitted by the light guide bodies 3 and 31 to generate power; and power storage bodies 5 storing the power generated by the light-receiving bodies 4. |
