PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent protection circuit capable of reducing influence on load regulation of a protective operation.SOLUTION: The overcurrent protection circuit according to an embodiment controls an output transistor of a first conductivity type connected between a power terminal and an output terminal. The overcurrent protection circuit includes a current/voltage control circuit for controlling the output transistor so that the output voltage and output current of the output terminal become proportional by controlling a gate voltage of the output transistor. The overcurrent protection circuit includes a first control circuit for making the control of the output transistor by the current/voltage control circuit be executed so that the output voltage and the output current become proportional when the output voltage is equal to or lower than a preset threshold, and stopping the control of the output transistor by the current/voltage control circuit when the output voltage exceeds the threshold. |
