An air conditioner is provided. The air conditioner includes a cabinet, a heat exchanger, a blower fan, and a motor. The heat exchanger is provided within the cabinet. The blower fan is installed in a location near the heat exchanger, to forcefully generate a flow of air. The motor includes a rotor to which the blower fan is coupled, a stator enclosed by the rotor and generating a magnetic field through a supplied current, and a shaft fixed to the stator. |
