PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell for electrochemical measurement and an electrochemical measurement system, which are favourable for the observation of a sample, for example, a fuel cell electrode catalyst such as Pt catalyst.SOLUTION: A cell for electrochemical measurement 10 comprises: a base plate 3 including an electron beam transmissive thin film 1 and a stiffened plate 2; an electrode pair including a gold electrode 5 and a platinum electrode 4 that are mounted on the thin film 1 of the base plate 3; a surrounding frame 6 surrounding the electrode pair on the thin film 1; an electrolytic solution ES sealing the electrode pair in a space that is surrounded on the thin film 1 by the surrounding frame 6; a lid 9 arranged above the surrounding frame 6 and including an electron beam transmissive thin film 7 and a stiffened plate 8. Observation windows 8a and 2a are formed by hollowing respective positions of the stiffened plates 8 and 2 of both the lid 9 and the base plate 3, each corresponding to the gold electrode 5. A sample S in contact with the gold electrode 5 can be observed through the observation windows 8a and 2a, and an electron beam EB can penetrate the corresponding observation windows 8a and 2a and the sample S between the observation windows. |
