<p>The sealing element (E) comprises: a sealing profile (20), having two lateral flanges (21) provided with an outer edge (21a) and an inner edge (21b) and joined by a central portion (22) to be lodged in an expansion joint (11) formed between two structure portions (10); and a reinforcing portion (30), in the form a flexible mat. Each lateral flange (21) has an upper portion (23) incorporated to the central portion (22), in the region of the inner edge (21b), and, a lower portion (24), which defines a spacing (D) with the upper portion (23) and which is incorporated to the latter, in the region of the outer edge (21a), and to be affixed in one of the structure portions (10). The reinforcing portion (30) has lateral portions (31) which are lodged and glued in the respective spacings (D), and a median portion (32) disposed around the central portion (22) of the sealing profile (20), downstream of the latter.</p> |
