PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cesium adsorbent which is superior in adsorption of radioactive cesium and is easily recovered after adsorption of cesium.SOLUTION: The cesium adsorbent comprises polyol, isocyanate, a catalyst, a foam stabilizer, and soft polyurethane foam which is obtained by foaming a polyurethane foam material containing ammonium iron blue and has the ammonium iron blue dispersed therein. In the cesium adsorbent, a metal catalyst is included as the catalyst, and the amount of the metal catalyst is 2.6 to 5.6 parts by weight and the amount of the ammonium iron blue is 11 to 23 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of polyol, and a ratio of parts by weight of the ammonium iron blue to the metal catalyst is 10:(2.2 to 2.7). |
