PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and credible overflow suppression device that does not prevent the movement of pool water going back to a spent fuel pool as much as possible while suppressing overflow due to sloshing.SOLUTION: An overflow suppression device includes a frame 6 provided at a peripheral edge of a spent fuel pool 1 and having plural openings 6a, a water-stop plate 5 rotatably attached to the upper part or side part of the frame 6 and closing the openings 6a so that they can be opened/closed, and a stopper 7 provided at the lower part of the frame 6 and regulating the rotation of the water-stop plate 5 to the outside of the spent fuel pool 1. |
