PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pump capable of changing, by a simpler configuration, the characteristics of a motor section according to temperatures.SOLUTION: An electric pump includes a pump section 2 for sucking and discharging fluid (oil) and a motor section 3 for rotatingly driving the pump section 2. The motor section 3 includes a rotor part 3a having a drive shaft (shaft 30) for transmitting drive force to the pump section 2, a rotor core 32 formed of a magnetic substance, and a permanent magnet (magnet 31) which is placed on a surface of the rotor core 32 and connected to the drive shaft through the rotor core 32; and a stator part 3b having a stator 33 and a coil 34 which serve as a magnetic field mechanism. The electric pump further includes an air gap adjusting means (adhesive agent 310) for elastically deforming the rotor core 32 so that a gap between the rotor core 32 and the permanent magnet (magnet 31) is increased within a predetermined range of the rotor core 32 in the axial direction according to the rise of the temperature of the fluid. |
