PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aliphatic amine alkylene oxide adduct little discolored, good in thermal stability, and little change in hue with the passage of time, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: An alkylene oxide can be addition-reacted with an aliphatic amine in the presence of urea to obtain the aliphatic amine alkylene oxide adduct excellent in hue and good in thermal stability.
