The device has a unit (3) for fastening the insulation plates (2) of an interior insulation system (1) on wall- and ceiling surfaces (4), where a vapor barrier (5) is arranged on the surface of the fastening unit and the insulation plates. The fastening unit comprises multiple U-shaped holders (6), in which a T-shaped form strip (7) is inserted. A U-profile rail (8) is arranged on the T-shaped form strip. The holder has a base (9) with a recess for fastening on a wall- and ceiling surface. The vapor barrier is formed as an aluminum film.
