PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid velocity detecting device and program capable of obtaining appropriate assessments from a medical point of view.SOLUTION: The velocity of a fluid flowing within a lumenal tissue inside a living body. V&thetas;(r, &thetas;) = w.V+(1- w).V+is computed to compute a calculated value V&thetas;(r, &thetas;) of the velocity related to a component orthogonally crossing a direction of an ultrasonic beam of the fluid. In this expression, the weight w is proportional to a distance d from a wall on one side of the tissue at least to a predetermined distance from the wall on the one side of the tissue, and is proportional to a distance d' from a wall on the other side to a predetermined distance from the wall on the other side of the tissue. |
