PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control unit capable of suppressing vibration resulting from engine restart.SOLUTION: An ECU (engine control unit) 100 automatically stops an engine 1 when a stopping condition set up in advance is established and automatically restarts the engine 1 when a restarting condition set up in advance is established. The ECU 100 predicts an engine speed for motoring in restarting the engine 1 after the engine 1 is automatically stopped and before the engine 1 is automatically restarted and controls in advance an engine speed decrease when the predicted engine speed is present in a resonance band. |
