PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart superior impact resistance and durability by improving strength, in a bat for baseball or softball made of a composite material comprising wood and a fiber-reinforced resin, and to provide a method for producing the bat for baseball or softball made of the composite material comprising wood and the fiber-reinforced resin, imparted with the superior impact resistance and durability by improving the strength thereof.SOLUTION: A bat 1 for baseball or softball includes: a hollow and cylindrical ball hitting part 2 made of wood; and a bat body 3 made of a fiber-reinforced resin, wherein a part is internally equipped in and joined to a hollow part 21 of the ball hitting part 2 and wherein the residual part are exposed from the ball hitting part 2. An hollow and cylindrical inner cylinder part 8 is disposed between the inner circumference of the ball hitting part 2 and the outer circumference of the bat body 3. |
