PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element and a photoelectric conversion element manufacturing method, which can increase derived electric energy.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element of a present embodiment comprises: a semiconductor substrate 2 having a photoelectric conversion layer 2a for photoelectrically converting incident light; a finger electrode 3 which is provided on a principal surface 2B of the semiconductor substrate 2 and which includes a plurality of electrode fingers 3'; a protective film 4 which is composed of an insulating material and provided on the principal surface 2B of the semiconductor substrate 2 so as to be positioned among the plurality of electrode fingers 3'; and bus bar electrodes 5 provided on the protective film 4 and on the finger electrode 3 for connecting the plurality of electrode fingers 3'. |
