PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect correction method of an organic EL panel capable of correcting an electrical defect due to a foreign matter mixed in the multilayer laminate film of the organic EL panel with probability, in an organic EL panel that has finished up to the sealing process.SOLUTION: The defect correction method of a sealed organic EL panel having a multilayer film formed by laminating at least a transparent anode, a hole transport layer, a luminous layer, an electron transport layer, and a cathode on a transparent substrate includes a lighting step for lighting at least the organic EL panel, a foreign matter inspection step for inspecting a foreign matter at a dark spot by microscope observation of the organic EL panel lighted by the lighting step from the transparent substrate side, a foreign matter removal step for removing the foreign matter at a dark spot found by the foreign matter inspection step by laser beam irradiation, and a confirmation step for confirming that a dark spot pixel is lighted normally. |
