PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display system capable of improving operability in comparative interpretation.SOLUTION: In this system, upon designating a region of interest on a diagnosis target image (step S3), a thoracic region is extracted from the diagnosis target image (step S4), the position of the region of interest is converted with thoracic region coordinates set in the thoracic region (step S5), the image data of one or more past images of the same patient and the same sites as the image data of the diagnosis target image are acquired from a medical image server (step S6), thoracic regions are extracted from the past image respectively (step S7), a corresponding region corresponding to the region of interest with the thoracic region coordinates is extracted from each of the thoracic regions in one or more past images on the basis of the position of the region of interest in the thoracic region extracted from the diagnosis target image (step S8), the corresponding region extracted from the past image is magnified or reduced so as to have the same size as that of the region of interest (step S9), and the corresponding image which is magnified or reduced is displayed (step S10). |
