PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator that can widen a frequency variable range while suppressing abnormal oscillation, and an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: An oscillator 1 includes: a crystal oscillator 10 (oscillation element); a CMOS inverter 20 (amplifier element) provided on an oscillation loop (feedback path) from an output terminal to an input terminal of the crystal oscillator 10; a variable capacitance diode 30 provided on the oscillation loop; and a phase delay section 100 provided on a path from the output terminal of the crystal oscillator 10 to an input terminal of the CMOS inverter 20 included in the oscillation loop. |
