PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure of calibration processing.SOLUTION: An optical receiver 100 has a light receiving section 110 for receiving signal light and converting the signal light thus received into an analog signal, i.e., an analog electric signal, a digital signal processing section 120 performing AD conversion for converting an analog signal into a digital signal, detecting noise included in the digital signal and caused by AD conversion, performing calibration processing for determining a correction value used for correction of the digital signal depending on the noise thus detected, correcting the digital signal by using the correction value thus determined, and outputting the corrected digital signal, and a control section 130 for determining whether or not the intensity of signal light falls within a predetermined range for a predetermined period, and controlling the digital signal processing section 120 not to perform calibration processing, when a determination is made that the intensity of signal light does not fall within a predetermined range for a predetermined period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
