PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink which can be manufactured easily and has the excellent cooling performance, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A heat sink is configured by disposing a fin unit 16 within a case which has wall surfaces confronted with each other and in which a cooling fluid is circulated. In the fin unit 16, crosspiece parts 17a and 17b and louvers 18 are formed alternately in a cooling fluid circulation path direction (X direction). Regarding the crosspiece parts 17a and 17b, the crosspiece parts 17a in contact with the ceiling-side wall surface of the heat sink and the crosspiece parts 17b in contact with the bottom-side wall surface of the heat sink are formed alternately in the X direction. Furthermore, a plurality of louvers 18 are formed for each gap between the neighboring crosspiece parts 17a and 17b. The fin unit 16 can be manufactured by applying press processing to one metal plate. |
