Method of production comprise cutting the material by abrasive water jet from block 100 to make blade billets extending radially from wheel 4, preserving the material of joints 112 between vane blanks, removing said joints 112 and milling said blade billets 102. Then the blades are milled to make profiled blade billets 202 to be subjected to finish milling to produce finished profile blades 2.
